What do we want? What do we seek? Is seeking
best for yourself the only law of survival? Where does happiness come from? If
everyone should seek the best then how come there are very few 'bests'
available. what and who defines 'best'? Are we not advocating selfishness if we
want best for ourselves? why are wants and happiness often connected the wrong
way?
what is wrong? and what is right? who defines
it? Does God exist? if so, why does wrongdoers dont get reproved? if not, then
what has karma to do with human fortitude?
There are so many people around us. So many of
them. At work, in the neighborhood, the guy at grocery store, the lady at
laundry, the watchman, friends, people whom you merely know that they exist but
you really spoken to them as yet. All of them. Out of all, a few matter, few
simply dont. But the catch here is, it is not relative, in fact, it never
relative. This change of equations, creates spheres of life, which sets the
ball rolling for each one of us.
There is no white and black in life. It is way
too simple. Universe does not like simple things. Between the white and black
there are 7 million shades of grey. We all are one of them. Or many of that probably.
Life-force or chi, is definitive and
constructive. But I believe, universe
does not enjoy simple happy stories or simple movies. Something extremely god seldom
happens, something that tends to make you enormously happy is granted rarely to
you. Universe likes sad stories. Universe likes Averages. Simple average. If
you have done exceedingly well in your life, at some point, you are sure to
face an impede. You will eventually get averaged out. Everyone of us gets
averaged out.
So if we are to be averaged out why seek the
best? Is it not better to seek average and remain average if that’s what you’ll
eventually be? Why progress towards lighter shade of grey and why not towards
black. Being sinful is always more fun you see. So, if you are to get averaged,
if there is no God and there is no right and wrong, and if there is no karma
and if there is no need to beat the best to be the best or to seek the best or
to acquire the best, to be the best. Why be the best?
