Awareness

How many of us are conscious? What does being conscious mean? Consciousness is defined as state of awareness. Awareness of self and objects/people around. Consciousness is the most mysterious aspect of human life. Philosophers, scientists have struggled to correctly comprehend it and reason it. To me, consciousness is life.

This brings me back to my original question, how many of us are conscious? Aware about the spirit in us? Those who are alive not necessary be conscious. Does level of consciousness impact the decision we take in our lives? Does it impact our understanding of right and wrong? Are right acts/decisions taken by people having more consciousness?
Again, right and wrong are state of minds, of different people about the same incident. So righteousness is relative. There cannot be absolute right or in that case absolute wrong. What you may feel is right is relatively wrong to other people. You have to decide your action. Your right. Your right may be wrong for someone else. Should you care about it?

The concept of right and wrong are generally instilled deep down our mind and soul even before we know it. It forms a major part of our upbringing. While we grow up, we fix our boundaries about right and wrong. We modify and little while we grow up, but the basic plot remains the same.

So how does consciousness relate with degree of rightness of any of our task/act. Any decision/task undertaken by highly conscious person is deemed to be right. But as righteousness is relative, it ought to be wrong for someone else. Who is defines right? What does right actually mean? Does it mean, right for you or the right for greater good? Who decides what greater good is?

Our consciousness allows us to distinguish between right and wrong. The level of our consciousness decides whether our right is right w r t greater good for more people. For people we may or may not know. It is that blink of thought, that glimmer of luminosity, which helps us to decide. The clearer the conscious, the brighter the luminosity.

In today’s world, we often see lack of clarity, no fix priorities and beliefs in lives of people. It seems consciousness and feeling it is not of prime importance to people. It depends entirely on your luck, by how many aware people are u surrounded? The chances of you being happy and successful depends greatly on level on consciousness within and around you. The emotional walls that people create which sets their priority needs to be glued with consciousness for them to be erect, forever.

Let us take some time off, think, feel whom are we surrounded with and who deserves to be surrounded by you. The inner circle of light around you becomes narrower with more people who don’t have awareness are around you. You will start experiencing it and feeling it the moment you notice. Your energy and thought process is greatly influenced by the person sitting next to you for most time of the day. So watch out, and choose your people carefully.

Seeking the Best

What do we want? What do we seek? Is seeking best for yourself the only law of survival? Where does happiness come from? If everyone should seek the best then how come there are very few 'bests' available. what and who defines 'best'? Are we not advocating selfishness if we want best for ourselves? why are wants and happiness often connected the wrong way?

what is wrong? and what is right? who defines it? Does God exist? if so, why does wrongdoers dont get reproved? if not, then what has karma to do with human fortitude?

There are so many people around us. So many of them. At work, in the neighborhood, the guy at grocery store, the lady at laundry, the watchman, friends, people whom you merely know that they exist but you really spoken to them as yet. All of them. Out of all, a few matter, few simply dont. But the catch here is, it is not relative, in fact, it never relative. This change of equations, creates spheres of life, which sets the ball rolling for each one of us.

There is no white and black in life. It is way too simple. Universe does not like simple things. Between the white and black there are 7 million shades of grey. We all are one of them. Or many of that probably.

Life-force or chi, is definitive and constructive.  But I believe, universe does not enjoy simple happy stories or simple movies. Something extremely god seldom happens, something that tends to make you enormously happy is granted rarely to you. Universe likes sad stories. Universe likes Averages. Simple average. If you have done exceedingly well in your life, at some point, you are sure to face an impede. You will eventually get averaged out. Everyone of us gets averaged out.

So if we are to be averaged out why seek the best? Is it not better to seek average and remain average if that’s what you’ll eventually be? Why progress towards lighter shade of grey and why not towards black. Being sinful is always more fun you see. So, if you are to get averaged, if there is no God and there is no right and wrong, and if there is no karma and if there is no need to beat the best to be the best or to seek the best or to acquire the best, to be the best. Why be the best?
